CSBK Rider and Team Press Releases

With excitement and gratitude Mopar Canadian Superbike (CSBK) motorcycle racer Trevor Daley announces his 2019 programme. Daley, who in 2018 made significant progress in his race-craft, fitness and focus, begins the new year with his best-ever paring of men and machinery.

For 2019 Daley is teaming with Suzuki Canada to be aboard the incomparable GSX-R1000, a machine that’s been the definitive roadracing motorcycle for privateer and pro alike. Alongside Daley and Suzuki is a man as legendary as the machines he’ll be building. Tuner Scott Miller, who operates as Fast Company, will be building and fettling Daley’s One Speed-sponsored mounts for the CSBK season that begins the weekend of May 17 to 19 in Shannonville, Ontario. “I couldn’t be more excited about my 2019 prospects,” said Daley. “To be back aboard a GSX-R and to have the opportunity to collaborate with Scott Miller is an incredible privilege.” Daley’s enthusiasm is echoed by Suzuki’s Paul Shantz. “Suzuki Canada is pleased to have Trevor riding a GSX-R for the upcoming season. With Trevor’s proven talent, a solid program, and the meticulous preparation of his GSX-R1000s, we look forward to a season of podium finishes.”

Daley’s machines will be unveiled at the CSBK booth at the Toronto Motorcycle Show Feb. 15 to 17. Daley will attend the show Saturday 11 am to 6 pm and Sunday noon to 5 pm and will distribute free posters and Suzuki swag. Additionally, CSBK’s official autograph signing session, where fans can meet many of the series front runners, is scheduled for noon Saturday. (For show info visit torontomotorcycleshow.ca)

We’ll leave the last words to Daley on his plans for 2019. “Excited,” he says, “is an understatement.”
