Canadian rider Colin Lolacher, of Chestermere, Alberta, will be racing aboard Mesher Racing’s 2016 BMW S1000RR in the Mopar CSBK Pro Superbike class during Rounds 5 and 6 of the Canadian Superbike Championship Series.

Lolacher, who will be making his debut at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, competed in the Mopar Pro Superbike Class in Edmonton in 2015 aboard the Mesher Racing BMW S1000R after a last minute engine failure in his Kawasaki ZX-10R left him scrambling for a ride.

"Last season we had planned to do multiple rounds of the Mopar Pro Superbike Series, but working with a tight budget meant after a catastrophic engine failure leading up to the Edmonton rounds that we wouldn’t be able to carry out that plan," said Lolacher.

"Darel Mesher stepped up to help me out last year in a big way, I had a lot of sponsor commitments and without hesitation he handed over his 2012 BMW S1000RR so I could be in the race. This year I am stoked that Darel is once again putting me on his brand new 2016 BMW S1000RR so I can contest the final rounds of the series. I look forward to having some time to actually get the bike setup properly leading up to this!” commented Lolacher.

“Mesher Racing is pleased to continue our support of Colin Lolacher in the 2016 Mopar Pro Superbike class of the CSBK series! Colin is a great competitor and an exciting rider to watch. We are pleased he will be riding a 2016 Mesher Racing BMW S1000rRR,” commented team owner Darel Mesher.

Lolacher would also like to welcome the support of Plus Racing Gear to keep him safe in 2016. Plus Racing Gear is a brand in Hungary/EU which is dedicated to produce outstanding motorbike apparel keeping in view the best comfort and safety. www.plus-racing.eu.
