Reigning Mopar Canadian Superbike Champ Jordan Szoke of Brantford, Ont. was the star attraction at BMW Toronto for the official launch of five new-for-2014 BMW motorcycle models. The gathering on Thursday evening attracted a strong customer turnout, and was part of a larger program that took place across Canada.
Szoke was on hand to sign autographs, chat with customers and show his title winning BMW S1000RR Pro Superbike racer. The 190 horsepower, four-cylinder motorcycle took Szoke to his ninth career Pro National overall number one plate last summer - his second straight earned with BMW Motorrad.
The BMW Showcase evening allowed dealers the chance to display the most recent additions to the wide ranging line-up of machines from the famed German marque.
The five new models on hand were the RnineT twin, S1000R naked sportster, R1200RT, R1200GS Adventure and K1600 GTL Exclusive. Eighteen of the 20 BMW motorcycles dealers in Canada showed all five new machines in a National side event last night.
Szoke’s next schedule appearance is for sponsor Parts Canada at the upcoming round of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship, at the Rogers Centre in Toronto Saturday.
