It all started Tuesday morning at BMW Toronto, their wonderful staff and parts department were there to support Matt when he fired up the bike for the very first time and had the race program loaded. Some fine tuning at the shop and then Friday was the bikes first shakedown. Perfect. Come Saturday morning while hot and humid, Matt captured the fastest lap of the weekend at 1:04.246, and qualified second in the afternoon for the Mopar Pro Superbike class. Hot and humid once again on Sunday with a bad start, however with a strong push to the front, he led 17 laps, finally finishing 3rd place. Strong finish for a week-old bike!
