Round 2 Report: Samuel Desmarais

Last weekend at Grand Bend Motorplex in Ontario was the second round of the Mopar CSBK Canadian Superbike Championship! It was a circuit that I had previously struggled with, but this year I was able to perform well all weekend long!

In the 600cc-based Liqui Moly Pro Sport Bike category, I qualified 7th, while for the race, I got a 6th position! My goal was to finish in the top 5; nevertheless, I am still satisfied and I still managed to accumulate some points for the championship!

Then I concluded this event on a good note in the 1000cc-based Mopar Pro Superbike category by finishing in 9th position! It was a very exciting race from start to finish because I had a competitor who was following me very closely.

The next round will take place at Autodrome St-Eustache from June 21st to 23rd. This will be the only race of the championship that will take place in Quebec, so come in large numbers!

I want to thank my sponsors and supporters for supporting me this weekend:

As well as Rob Roston for the preparation of my bike, Jon Cornwell for the suspensions and obviously my family!
