Jordan Szoke, the winningest Superbike Racer in Canadian History, will represent Oxygen Bicycle Co on Cannondale equipment for the 2015 season. Szoke will be aboard a 2015 Cannondale Scalpel 29 Carbon Team Bike.
When Jordan is not racing his superbike full time, performing during one of his Extreme Shows or contending in off road events like Enduro and Observed Trials he also participates in cycling events to prepare himself to compete.
“My first ride on our new bike was literally as we geared up for the race this past Tuesday.” says Szoke. “I picked it up the day before, made a few adjustments and then I hopped on it to race.” Szoke finished 5th during round #3 of the increasingly popular Kelso Mountain Bike Race series. “I really want to thank Shawn at Oxygen for setting us up so quickly with what we need to get going.”
When asked about the past event, the 2013 Series Champion Szoke says, “There are more and more talent coming to these events, and I really enjoy coming. I am able to push harder as I ride with faster racers, it really increases my training regime. We didn’t get any time to test the bicycle, and I went the fastest I have gone thus far on it so I am extremely happy. I can’t wait to prepare for the next event and see what we can do.” Szoke currently sits 2nd in his age class.
"We are stoked to have Jordan riding for us. He's a perfect fit and a great ambassador for Oxygen." said Shawn Fitzpatrick, CEO of Oxygen Bike Co.
You will find Szoke competing on his new “Lefty” during the Kelso Mountain Bike Race Series at Kelso Conservation Area Tuesday evenings throughout the summer.
