Trevor Daley of Mississauga, ON is pleased to announce that he has secured the services of famed American tuner Gary Medley as crew chief for Daley's Parts Canada, OneSpeed, Suzuki Superbike team.
Medley will be at each of the six rounds of the Mopar CSBK series and will be bringing his expertise as a tuner, mechanic and rider coach to Trevor's program aboard the (ex Alex Welsh) Suzuki GSX-R1000. Trevor and Gary will also be doing some pre-season testing at selective Pro6Cycle/Dunlop track days.
"Having Gary working with me is the final piece to cementing my success this season that I feel I've lacked and has plagued my results in past years. Confidence and trust in those turning the wrenches and making the calls I feel is paramount at every level within the sport."
"With Jon Cornwell, my friend and someone I have always looked to for advice in my riding and technical support being extremely busy with his World SBK and Moto-America commitments, Gary was Jon's clear recommendation for my guaranteeing success this season," said Daley.
Daley, runner-up in the 2014 Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship, also informs that he will be wearing his new CSBK National number. His career three digit 116 will be replaced with his new number 6.
"Throughout my racing career prior to starting to road race in late 2011, I always wore the #6, and for this season I have chosen to look back to my championship winning routes. Also, from a media and fan perspective I think its a smart move. It's just a good thing I don't have 116 tattooed on me anywhere!" he explained jokingly.
