Motorama Show Features CSBK Pilots for Saturday Autograph Sessions

Several of the top Pro Superbike racers in the Mopar CSBK National Championships were on hand for a Saturday afternoon Autograph Session in the Mopar Booth at the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo presented by Mothers at the International Centre near Toronto’s Pearson Airport on March 11.

Eleven-time National Pro Superbike Champion Jordan Szoke was joined by his Express Lane Mopar team-mate Andrew Ranger, one of the star four-wheel competitors in the Pinty’s NASCAR Canadian stock car National tour. Szoke and Ranger have worked together frequently on behalf of Mopar, and occasionally attend the other’s National Series events.

Michael Leon came to the International Centre from Montreal, representing the Royal Distributing BMW Motorrad Team that earned fourth overall in the 2017 Pro Superbike final points standings.  Leon will once again campaign BMWs in 2017, his third season aboard the dominant (five titles in seven years) S1000RR model.

2015 Magneti Marelli Amateur Superbike Champ Derrick Whyte is getting ready for his second season as a Pro competitor in the Feature Pro Superbike category, campaigning a new Snow City Cycle/Lucas Oil backed 1000cc Kawasaki Ninja XZ-10R.  Whyte confirmed at Motorama that he will attend tests in the U.S. next month, joining fellow front running Pro Kawasaki racer Kenny Riedmann in Alabama.

Whyte also delivered on an earlier web contest offering, encouraging fans to ask Derrick about Ogio back packs while in the Mopar Motorama Booth.  Young Sydney from Toronto asked the right question, and earned her Ogio gear courtesy of series sponsor Motovan, delivered by Whyte.
