Following a Tribunal Ruling on Friday, July 22, the following is a clarification of existing CSBK rules: 

In Qualifying sessions where racers set an identical lap time, the superior grid placing (and potential awards and points) will be given to the competitor who achieved the next best closest lap time during the same session.

This follows the current MotoGP guidelines.
